The CROSS Conference exists for one reason: to call the rising generation of 18-25 year olds to make their lives count by making Jesus' name known among the nations. Since our founding in 2013, tens of thousands of young men and women have gathered to worship, hear the Word, and answer the call to go — to their neighborhoods, their campuses, and the unreached peoples of the earth. Every dollar given to CROSS is an investment in that generation, and in the churches and mission fields they will one day lead.
Is CROSS in need of donations? In one sense, the answer is an emphatic "no!" By God's grace and careful stewardship, we are fully supported through income from registrations, sponsors, and bookstore sales. That said, we plow as much money as possible back into improving the conference and keep our margins deliberately thin. If we received more through donations, we would tackle and expand the projects listed below.

Giving Opportunities:
Carmichael Fund (General Fund)
If you or someone you’ve loved has gained spiritual benefit from attending a past CROSS conference, pay it forward by supporting the Carmichael Fund. These gifts allow CROSS leadership to direct resources with wisdom and flexibility — filling gaps, funding improvements, and ensuring that every conference is better than the last. Your investment in the next generation of 18-25 year olds will ripple outward to stronger believers, healthier churches – all the way to the unreached hearing the gospel.
Amy Carmichael (1867–1951) cared about the next generation. She was an Irish missionary who served in India for 55 years without ever taking a furlough home. She is best known for founding the Dohnavur Fellowship in southern India, where she rescued young girls and boys from being dedicated to temple prostitution. She gave these children a home, an education, and a family, eventually caring for hundreds of them.
Müller Fund (Inner-City and International Youth)
Give to this fund and directly sponsor attendees who couldn't otherwise afford to attend CROSS. Through partnerships with trusted pastors of inner-city churches across America, we cover transportation, housing, and food — removing financial barriers to attendance. This fund also helps offset the added cost of international travel for overseas attendees, and CROSS waives registration for all who qualify. At CROSS CON26, we sponsored 20 students. We're believing God to grow that number 10x.
George Müller (1805–1898) was a German-born evangelist and missionary who moved to Bristol, England, where he founded an orphanage and worked among the urban poor. He is widely celebrated as a towering example of radical trust in God's provision, having recorded over 50,000 answers to prayer in his journals.
Carey Fund (Books)
Give to this fund and you will be giving to the minds of the rising generation. This fund enables CROSS to give strategic books free to all attendees. We view books like time-release capsules of knowledge designed to inform, motivate, and mobilize. At CROSS CON26 we gave four books to each of the 18,000 attendees.
William Carey' (1761-1834) was born in Paulerspury, Northamptonshire, England, and died in Serampore, India, having spent the last 41 years of his life there as a missionary. His 1792 booklet, An Enquiry into the Obligations of Christians to Use Means for the Conversion of the Heathens, is widely regarded as one of the most consequential documents in the history of Christian missions, making a systematic biblical argument that the Great Commission was still binding on all Christians
CROSS Canada Fund
Close to 1,000 Canadians travel on an annual basis to attend CROSS in America. It’s a huge commitment. These friends have asked CROSS to expand north of the border to reduce costs and expand access to more Canadians. The initial investment will be sizable, but the need is great. If you are or know a major donor willing to fund start-up costs of as much as $100,000, please reach out to Matt Schmucker at matt@crosscon.com.
CROSS Europe Fund
Friends from England to Germany have asked us to expand the reach of CROSS by calling 18-25 year olds on a continent with a shrinking witness to evangelize their home countries and go to the nations with the hope of Christ. The initial investment will be sizable, but the need is great. If you are or know a major donor willing to fund start-up costs of as much as $100,000, please reach out to Matt Schmucker at matt@crosscon.com.
